Announcer and focus after a client navigation
A Dusk app has the route announcer (routeAnnouncer(), see the routing guide) on by default.
A Dusk app has the route announcer (routeAnnouncer(), see the routing guide) on by default. After a client
navigation the page title from its metadata or head is announced through a live region. When the page has no
title, the first h1 of the document is announced, then the path of the page; the text of the whole main is
never announced. Focus moves to the element named by the URL's hash when the page has one, and otherwise to the new
page's h1 (or its main landmark). A page should therefore have one main landmark and one h1. Nothing is
announced on the first page, for a hash-only change, or for the same URL.
To turn it off, pass announcer: false to hydrateDusk (hydrateDusk({ announcer: false })), or leave it out of
duskFeatures({ announcer: false }) when you build the router yourself. Both paths reach the same router feature.
